Kraken Systems works with researchers, engineers, labs, vendors, and organizations on evaluation hardware, development systems, review units, loans, matched accelerator groups, engineering collaboration, and research — and can responsibly route discounted, surplus, or donated equipment into lifecycle-tested compute where it still fits.

Evaluation hardware, development systems, review units, and test benches that help us validate models, tooling, and workloads under real conditions.

Engineering collaboration

Joint research, performance validation, lifecycle testing, matched accelerator groups, and hands-on systems work with researchers and engineering teams.

Equipment partnerships

Loans, discounted, surplus, or donated equipment — servers, GPUs, workstations, storage, networking, and power — routed into lifecycle-managed compute lanes.

Compute

High-memory GPUs, accelerator-capable servers, workstations, complete barebones systems, CPUs, ECC memory, cooling, risers, and power hardware.

Storage and network

Enterprise SSDs, NVMe, hard drives, NAS/SAN equipment, switches, adapters, cabling, racks, rails, consoles, and KVMs.

Resilience

UPS systems, PDUs, power protection, batteries, repair equipment, test gear, monitors, and other infrastructure that keeps systems usable.

Hardware pathways

Your retired hardware may still have a mission.

Kraken may be able to use evaluation units, loans, donated, retired, returned, demonstration, end-of-life, incomplete, damaged, parts-grade, or substantially discounted equipment. The value depends on exact model, proprietary accessories, cooling, power, transport, repairability, and workload fit — every unit is assessed against the fleet's real needs before anything is accepted.

Pickup, delivery, shipping, or transfer arrangements may be considered case by case after the equipment, distance, safety, and handling requirements are reviewed. Any as-is or no-warranty terms must be agreed in writing.

Data-bearing equipment

Donors should remove sensitive storage media before transfer unless a written data-handling arrangement is established. Kraken will not intentionally access donor data. Any included storage should be wiped, destroyed, returned, or handled under an agreed process before reuse.

Recognition

Support may be publicly acknowledged, described privately, or remain anonymous according to the contributor’s preference and any applicable organizational policy.

Tax and organizational disclosure: Kraken Systems is not currently a tax-exempt charitable organization. Equipment support is not represented as a tax-deductible charitable donation. Contributors should rely on their own legal, accounting, and disposition policies.
