Hardware Engineering and Partnerships
Kraken Systems operates a heterogeneous fleet of accelerators and servers — including systems that were retired, returned, or considered obsolete elsewhere — and engineers them as one managed environment. Responsible lifecycle management extends the useful life of workstations, servers, accelerators, storage, networking, and power equipment while keeping every lane measured, monitored, and safe.
Engineering approach
Section titled “Engineering approach”- every accelerator is registered in a single lane registry with its model, role, and lifecycle state;
- nodes are production-ready only after host-level and container-level GPU visibility pass fleet-wide validation;
- idle lanes are automatically unloaded after a grace period and restored on demand, with thermal limits enforced under load;
- long-context and throughput claims are certified by measurement — including published boundaries where a model or runtime caps what is possible.
Partnership pathways
Section titled “Partnership pathways”- evaluation hardware and development systems;
- review units and loans;
- matched accelerator groups and engineering collaboration;
- research and lifecycle testing;
- discounted, surplus, or donated equipment.
Current priorities

- ECC memory and enterprise storage;
- networking and rack infrastructure;
- UPS and power distribution;
- consoles, KVMs, rails, cooling, risers, and proprietary accessories;
- test and repair equipment.
Data-bearing devices
Section titled “Data-bearing devices”Sensitive media should be removed before transfer unless a written handling plan exists. Kraken will not intentionally access donor data.
Status
Section titled “Status”Kraken is not currently a tax-exempt charity. Equipment support is not represented as tax-deductible.
