Project KATIA is in founding, research, organization, partnership-development, and prototype-planning stages. This page describes where the project stands and what comes next.
Where the project stands

What may develop
- Case organization: timelines, evidence indexes, document inventories, deadline tracking, professional-review queues.
- Navigation and language: multilingual research, correspondence organization, agency maps, qualified resource discovery.
- Connection support: communication-preservation tools, supervised-contact concepts, family archives, referrals, reconnection research.
Roadmap
Public content first; private systems later, and gated.
Near-term work focuses on the public side: expanding verified country resources, drafting additional plain-language explainers, translating core content, and building the knowledge-base index. Any future private-side system (a document index, redaction pipeline, timeline builder, or family vault) is separately gated on parent approval, privacy review, and professional review — and would never expose private material on the public site.
Once deployed, these pages are the live public explanation, and they are revised as the project develops and as review feedback is incorporated.
Governance
Every public page passes a review chain: content drafting, layout, privacy review, factual validation, indexing, and an operator publish gate. Content is plain-language, accuracy-checked, and never portrays the project as an established charity, legal representative, government service, or deployed platform.
Boundaries
- No external outreach or case intake without explicit approval.
- No real family or child data in any public system.
- No legal entity formation without professional review and approval.
