Founding & mission definition
Completed. Founding, mission, boundaries, and naming are settled; the L1 founder-story copy is approved and public pages are live. Public identity is “Project KATIA” with no forced acronym.
Program
Project KATIA is in founding, research, organization, partnership-development, and prototype-planning stages. This page consolidates where each workstream stands — completed, in progress, or planned — so nothing is overstated.
Workstream status
Each row is labeled honestly. Anything marked planned is not yet built, and nothing here implies a commitment.
Completed. Founding, mission, boundaries, and naming are settled; the L1 founder-story copy is approved and public pages are live. Public identity is “Project KATIA” with no forced acronym.
Completed for the public surface. No forms, no accounts, no analytics identifiers, no case intake. RED/AMBER/GREEN classification with a GREEN-only public surface and a publication-boundary policy: the public source tree never deploys from private stores.
In progress. International family separation, abduction, wrongful retention, displacement, and reconnection; prevention-systems gap analysis feeding Katia’s Law. Completed to date: the plain-language explainer set, the verified resource index, and verified contact directories.
In progress. Expanding by country and topic. Every entry carries a URL, jurisdiction, type, and an HTTP-status verification record — see Safe public resources →
In progress. Plain-language explainers on the situations that separate families and the systems that exist to help. Next topics planned: prevention, travel, passports, and reunification processes — see Understanding separation →
In early stages. Seeking qualified professionals to review, challenge, and improve the framework — see Professional review →
Planned only — in design, not built. Information-organization tools, deadline and task coordination, document-preparation assistance, and lawful coordination tools. All future private-side prototypes are gated on privacy review, professional review, and explicit approval before any build.
Planned. Translation of core content into additional languages; multilingual resource-discovery research is in progress. No translated public pages exist yet.
Separate program. A developing policy proposal about prevention systems, not a technology initiative. It has its own status and roadmap — see Katia’s Law →
The honest boundary
Nothing here is a commitment. Items labeled planned are not built. Items under exploration are not promises. The roadmap page makes the same distinction explicit — see the roadmap →
